On October 6, 1999, an administrative law judge for the Worker's Compensation Division of the Department of Workforce Development ordered the applicant to cooperate with the right of the employer and insurer to an independent medical examination. The applicant filed a timely petition for commission review of that order.

However, the commission's authority on review is limited to decisions which award or deny compensation. Wis. Stat. § 102.18(3). The October 6, 1999 order for which the applicant seeks review does not award or deny compensation. Consequently, the commission must dismiss the petition for commission review for lack of jurisdiction.

ORDER

The petition for review is dismissed.
